When you first encounter backgammon you’ll quickly learn that this is a game with a lot of skill and chance involved. Backgammon’s objective is to be the last player with control over the dice making the last movement of the game. There are two players that can be involved in this game at a time playing on a board that consists of two opposite colors. You will be placing your stones on six points and wedges which have been separated into two sides consisting of the inner section and the outer section. You will roll the dice in order to get all your stones over the other side of the game board before the opposing player to be the winner of the game. It is not as easy as it sounds as you can be put back in your progress which is why this game requires a lot of skill and many chances from beginning to end.

Each player will be given fifteen of their own stones, which are your game pieces that are used to play the game. You will have the option to either be white or black stones. When setting up the game you will place the stones opposite your opponents on the backgammon board. This will be determined by the number that appears on the dice.

To win the game you need to get to the other side of the board with all your stones and then get them off of the board. The player that does this successfully first will be the winner of the game. You could see that the game ends up taking quite some time to finish, but once you complete the game you will see what we mean when we say it takes a lot of skill and chance to play backgammon.
